If you ask most salespeople whether they want to use a call script, they'll say no, and one of the reasons they'll cite is that it sounds canned. But let me point out that poor delivery is only one reason that scripts sound canned.

I am constantly reminded of the importance of a good "interest-grabbing statement" right at the start to make people want to hear more.
If you don't take the time to develop your interest grabber, you'll probably sound like every other salesperson...
